An alle die tow surfing lernen möchten
This one week course taught by BRIAN KEAULANA and or ARCHIE KALEPA, along with Tow-In Safety Equipment spe******t, MIKE SLATTERY and other professionals in the industry , is designed for individuals with the desire to learn. One who has a basic understanding of their physical range by knowing their abilities and their limitations, thus making prudent decisions using risk management systems, strategies, and structures. You will also develop skills that involve team work, brain storming, and identifying resources for incident command systems by using either low or high-tech resources. After going through physical training and understanding the risk management process, you will learn basic and creative survival techniques. The major goal is to integrate your (K.A.T.) knowledge, ability and technology with the surrounding environment.
The intention is to create safety in a dynamic environment. When going into the ocean, most people feel safe around well-trained and experienced professionals. That same professional can’t help but to wonder who will provide safety for him/her in these dynamic ocean environments. We are creating our own safety mechanism, as well as creating one for others, with the overall objective of teaching people how to survive and in turn teach others to ensure safety for us as well as those around us.
By using our knowledge, experience, resources and technologies, risk factors can be prevented and minimized, giving us the quantities and qualities of life. Although this is not a certification course it is a lifetime opportunity to train with Hawaii’s best and most experienced waterman.
We will also teach the basic fundamentals and suggest the necessary and required items that you may need in case of an emergency, basic PWC operations, and equipment used for tow-in surfing. Along with this portion of the course, we will go over basic techniques and skills for tow-in surfing and give the student an opportunity to tow into some training size waves.
This program has been adopted by Towsurfer.com for the purpose of sharing knowledge and experience with others, to insure safety around us and all those who enjoy this sport.
