Take a smaller version if your weight allows you to. The 98l is uninspiring compared to the 91l or 84l. It has a flatter rocker line so doesnt turn as well, feels in swell like it wants to bury it's nose. But also I don't think it is any faster or planes any earlier. I chose the 91l in the end as my light wind wave allrounder at 83 kg's to partner a smaller waveboard and I think it's a great allrounder, not the best in real waves but great in swell, bump n jump and fast in flatwater. They feel quite voluminous
as it is relatively wide and alot of volume in the tail.
Great board, very versatile.
