Gaastra Manic 4.2 auf 400er Mast?

Servus!

Laut homepage sollte man das segel mit nem 370er Mast fahren! Was denkt ihr merk ich da große Unterschiede wenn ich das Variotop ausnutze und es auf dem 400er fahre? RDM!

Auf jeden Fall !
Das Segel wird deutlich weicher werden, aber funktionieren tuts auf jeden Fall !

Correction on the remark of Schattensurfer:
Exchanging the 370 by a 400 with 30cm variotop will not make the sail softer, but harder. The bottom section of the longer mast is stiffer.

It will function, but you will loose some of the easy handling characteristics. The sail will have a stiffer profile.
