Sometimes the waves on Maui's North Shore are simply too big to get anywhere on the water. The harbor of Kahului then offers a protected area to at least take advantage of the swell rolling in between the harbor piers. In this video, Robby Naish talks about one of these days and goes wave hunting with his stand-up paddleboard in the harbor basin.
